What Is GeneXproServer 5.0?

An Add-on to GeneXproTools 5.0
GeneXproServer is an add-on to GeneXproTools. You must own at least one license of GeneXproTools 5.0 before you can purchase GeneXproServer 5.0.

Fully Functional Time Limited Demo
You can download the GeneXproServer 5.0 demo and use it for free for 30 days. For the demo to work you will also need to have GeneXproTools 5.0 installed on the same computer (either the demo version or a licensed copy).

Job Definition Workflow
The process starts with an initial GeneXproTools 5.0 run and an XML job definition file that can be created from scratch or from one of the several templates supplied. The job definition file contains details about the number of runs, the data to load and the settings to vary over the course of each run. Each run can last a finite number of generations or a number of minutes or hours. The runs can be processed in parallel or one at a time.

Integration
GeneXproServer ships in two different configurations: Windows and console mode. The former is appropriate for desktop computers and to create job definitions, whereas the console mode can be easily integrated with other systems and workflows. Either mode provides means to trigger external applications before and after each run and at the beginning and end of the job. For very complex workflows it is possible to combine this process with custom C#, VB.NET, IronPython, and other code that uses the GeneXproServer API directly. Open Results
The results of a job are stored in XML files that can be easily read by your systems and stored in your content management system. In addition GeneXproServer also creates an HTML report ready for analysis. To see an example of a job report click here.

Standalone and Add-on
GeneXproServer is installed as an add-on to GeneXproTools and also contains an installer for deployment on computers where GeneXproTools is not installed. This reduces overheads when deploying GeneXproServer on multiple servers.

GeneXproServer Results
During the execution of a job, GeneXproServer creates a gep file per run as well as several XML log files with details on each run and a report that aggregates all the information into a single web page. You can download these three examples of job results:
