Driver
Lists the supported database drivers. This version of GeneXproTools uses specific drivers to connect to Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL databases. To connect to other database engines GeneXproTools uses the generic ODBC driver.

Database Path/Server Name/DSN 
Microsoft Excel: path to the Excel file.
Microsoft Access: path to the database file.
Microsoft SQL Server: server name or IP address.
Oracle: server name or IP address.
MySQL: server name or IP address.
DSN: the DSN of the chosen database.

User ID
Username when needed.

Password
Username password when needed.

Database 
Microsoft SQL Server  - Name of the database.
Oracle  - Name and database instance (HOST/INSTANCE).
MySQL  - Name of the database (cannot contain spaces or MySQL special characters).
 
Test Connection Button
Tries to open a connection to the selected database.

OK Button
Adds a data source.

Cancel Button
Cancels all the action on the data source connection.
