Data preprocessing

From my previous experience with different algorithms I've learned of the importance of data preprocessing. Is this the same with GeneXproTools and GEP?

I would say that different data and different goals require different treatments, so it is difficult to give a straight answer on preprocessing. GeneXproTools can handle raw data quite well but in time series some preprocessing (such as a percentage change or a moving average) can be beneficial.
